The Giganotosaurus is one of the most powerful and dangerous creatures in the game. When it enters Rage Mode, its eyes glow bright yellow — an ominous warning to both enemies and allies that its damage and resistance modifiers are greatly increased. In this state it becomes an incredibly dangerous force, rivaling the power of massive creatures such as the Dragon and the DodoRex.  

If a tamed Giga becomes enraged, it will immediately throw its rider off and begin attacking everything nearby, including allied players and creatures. This enraged state lasts 20 seconds, which is more than enough time for catastrophic destruction to occur.  

Before becoming enraged, a heart icon appears below its stat bars. Players should watch this indicator carefully as the heart gradually fills and begins glowing. Once the heart is completely filled, the Giganotosaurus will enter Rage Mode.

A horde of imprinted Gigas can take on powerful bosses such as the Forest Titan and even the Ice Titan thanks to their large health pool and massive damage output.  

If your Giga army is small (fewer than 8), it is strongly recommended to bring additional firepower. Fortunately, neither of these Titans can trigger a Giga’s auto-enrage, making them relatively safe targets for coordinated Giga groups.

The Giganotosaurus is arguably one of the best meat farmers in the game thanks to its extremely high Melee Damage and ability to kill almost any creature with ease. Walking around slaughtering wild dinos near your base allows you to fill feeding troughs and refrigerators with meat in just minutes.

After the Giganotosaurus loses a large amount of Health in a short period of time, it enters Rage Mode for several seconds. During this state, the Giga doubles its Melee Damage and will attack everything nearby, including allied players and tames.

The Giganotosaurus’ attacks ignore natural armor, allowing it to deal full damage to creatures that normally rely on armor for protection, such as the Rock Elemental.
