The Spring Drakeling possesses exceptional regenerative capabilities. It recovers instantly after taking damage and regenerates health significantly faster than other Drakelings. When stored with most seed types, it can also passively generate Rare Flowers within its inventory.

The Summer Drakeling functions as a living cooking station. Its inventory automatically cooks all types of Raw Meat at a speed comparable to a Campfire. Additionally, it can convert cooked meat into Cooked Meat Jerky and Prime Meat Jerky without requiring Oil, operating at a rate similar to a Preserving Bin.

The Autumn Drakeling excels at harvesting from defeated creatures. It extracts substantially more resources than other Drakelings, effectively doubling the harvest yield by increasing the harvest health of corpses.

The Winter Drakeling greatly extends the spoil timer of stored food within its inventory, providing preservation comparable to a powered Preserving Bin. The exact spoil-time multiplier is still pending testing.
Seasonal variants of Drakelings can be cross-bred successfully. However, offspring will inherit only one seasonal ability, not multiple. The resulting trait is selected from one of the parents’ seasonal aspects.
Each seasonal Drakeling possesses a unique passive ability known as an Aspect.

Drakelings accumulate bonus experience from every kill, storing up to 30,000 XP. This stored experience can be transferred to an allied tame, rewarding the player with a Dragon Hoard Key upon transfer.
Dragon Hoard Keys are generated when stored experience is transferred after reaching specific thresholds.
Key Mechanics:
Usage: Dragon Hoard Keys function similarly to treasure maps:
When a Drakeling is within its native biome — or an environment with a similar temperature — the player carrying it receives the Native Biome Boost.
Effects:
When running Purple Drops on Astraeos or Extinction, you can greatly optimize Dragon Hoard Key farming with proper structure placement and Drakeling rotation.
Structure Setup Strategy
Instead of relying only on a shield, use a controlled defensive layout:
Important:
Placing the forcefield directly over the drop can cause enemy creatures to lag, path incorrectly, and take longer to reach the objective, slowing wave progression.
Keeping the shield offset ensures:
Drakeling Rotation Method
Inside the protected area, keep a minimum of 6 Autumn Drakelings ready for rotation. Optimal workflow:
