 The Pelagornis excels at gathering Organic Polymer by hunting Penguins in snowy regions. Juvenile Penguins yield significantly more Polymer, making them the primary targets. Organic Polymer is extremely heavy, but the Pelagornis benefits from an 80% weight reduction when carrying it, greatly improving transport efficiency.

 The Pelagornis deals massive bonus damage to Piranhas, Sabertooth Salmon, Cnidaria, and Coelacanth, often killing multiple targets in a single strike. This makes it highly efficient for harvesting Fish Meat. Note that this damage bonus does not apply to Mantas or larger sea creatures. 

 With a built-in 36.5% taming speed boost and strong base stamina, the Pelagornis is an excellent aerial scout. Its ability to land almost anywhere to recover stamina allows it to outrun or outlast most pursuers. 

 Players can safely fish while mounted, allowing quick access to remote fishing spots. If threatened, the Pelagornis can instantly take flight to reposition, though it remains vulnerable to piranha aggression while on the water.
